How long to contract?
Sorry for all of the q's today.
BUT . . ..
Once your lawyer receives the first draft of the contract from the seller, typically how long does it take for it to be finalized?

We signed ours a week after our lawyer received the initial contract. The sellers signed 3 days after us.
ETA: Don't be sorry for all of the questions, this is the best place to ask and this is the most confusing time!

The whole process took about 2 and a half weeks from when our attorney received the initial draft til when the contract was fully executed (signed by both parties).

We had to change the purchase price int he contract, so that held it up a few days- maybe a total of... 10 days it took?
