ANTS!!!

Has anyone had an Ant problem? Just recently, I have seen Ants in my bedroom and just last night I found more in my kitchen....

I put raid traps down and sprayed. I know that will probably only work for a little while. Any other solutions?????
They are so disgusting and annoying...I don't want to find them in my food...

Should I call an exterminator??

Yeah - we get carpenter ants every now and then in the house. We put out small traps behind the garbage and that seemed to stop them. We had an exterminator come, but that only helped for the season.

We learned (the hard way) to clean up better when we had outside parties also.

I just had this problem yesterday....I have been in my house for over a year and never seen an ant and I come home yesterday to tons of them crawling all over my backsplash in the kitchen ... I'm in the process of researching some natural ways to get rid of them in the house as I worry about alot of the sprays and stuff on my dog and around all of my kitchen stuff.... our last resort will be to call an exterminator but I'm going to try and control it myself first. good luck!!

We learned this one the hard way in our old apt. Make sure to clean up all counters with hot soapy water daily and floors at least once a week. They're usually attracted by crumbs they find.

We put traps around the outside where we thought they were coming in and one on the floor where we found them and we never had a problem again.
