A very Posh godmother for Geri's baby Bluebell
Victoria Beckman has always wanted be a mother to a baby girl - and now she has the next best thing.
Geri Halliwell has asked Posh to be godmother to her 11-month-old daughter Bluebell.
Geri Halliwell has asked former bandmate Victoria Beckham to be godmother to her daughter Bluebell, and George Michael's partnet Kenny Goss will be godfather
But husband David, who relocated to America with Posh earlier this year to play with US football team LA Galaxy, has been overlooked as godfather.
Instead Kenny Goss - George Michael's boyfriend -will fill the role.
More A-list guests are expected to attend: Spice Girls Melanie Chisolm and a pregnant Emma Bunton have been invited.
But Melanie B, currently embrioiled in a paternity battle with actor Eddie Murphy, won't make the event, instead remaining in LA with her new baby daughter Fortuna Daphne Bay.
Another notable figure who will be absent from the day is Bluebell's father and Geri's estranged ex, scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi. The christening is set to take place at a church in London's Hampstead.
