Has anyone taken CLEP exams?
I'm looking into them, wondering how others liked or disliked the experience.

OMG... best thing EVER!!!!
I took two of them in college... me and a friend did it, then we became the resident CLEP experts--- it took over our school. Everyone wanted to know about the CLEP! 
Easiest 6 credits I ever earned!

Yes! I did! I took 2 of them and they were great.
one was a math, the other a science.

Can I ask what classes you took them for?
well, I was an English major-- so I took one in that, which the credits just went to my elective since I could not apply to my major. I just thought it would be the easiest for me.
Now that I think about it-- maybe I only took one-- I did it my junior year and that was seriously like 11 years ago. I thought I took two though...
Maybe something more generic.

I took a few but it was 21 years ago. I think I took some History ones and English ones. It was pretty good. They were not very long exams and I think I got up to 3 credits for each of them. I remember that my school only used them as general credits. I could not fill any specific requirements with them but I used them to reach the total number of credits needed to graduate.

I took the CLEP exam in Spanish during college. I got 6 credits through it. Piece of cake.

I took one (was basic computing or something like that) and DH CLEP'd out of numerous classes.
