Forever stamps?
Has anyone bought these yet? I don't really use that many stamps but I was thinking of buying some but I don't know how many. They are supposed to be good forever no matter what the price goes up to, but I can't imagine buying hundreds and hundreds of them.
Does anyone know when the price of stamps is going up anyway?

I'm pretty sure you can use them forever....like if postage goes up to 50 cents you can still use these stamps that you bought for 41 cents or whatever.

Re: Forever stamps?
The reason they can work forever is that if you "invest" in thousands of stamps now, in the plans of them increasing over the next few years and still using your "cheap" stamps, they have spent the last several years earning interest on the money you gave them. They still wind up making out, it just makes things easier than buying tons of 1c stamps.

Re: Forever stamps?
I just bought a ton for the reponse cards for my wedding. Postage goes up May 14th and right now, you can purchase the FOREVER stamp - it's worth .41 cents but can be used forever no matter how much stamps go up. IMO, it's worth buying them instead of purchasing the .41 cent stamps since they are worth the same anyway.

Re: Forever stamps?
We were just talking about this at work - You would have to buy hundreds of them to last until the rates go up again.

The rates go up May 14th again. WE don't use that many at work or home so it is worth it for us.
