My baby is craving liquor
As most know I am having a rough pregnancy..well my baby doesnt seem to know. All this week I have been craving Guiness Stout???? I hate the stuff prepregnancy cause its bitter....
I read an article that Gwenth Paltrow drank Guniess while pregnant but I dont want to take the chance.
Whats scaring me is that its a really strong craving. Thoughts

Have one. You'll probably take a few sips and that will satisfy your craving.
I've had a few glasses of wine, it's very common in other countries to have a drink once in a while.

OMG I have been craving Guinness from the beginning of my PG. A friend of mine who lives in Dublin was actually told by her OB to drink a pint a day to help with her anemia. I am not that brave, but I know plenty of women who drank it during BF.
Plus I think if it is OK to drink one glass of wine every now & again then why not Guinness???

My mom said she drank it with me. She was anemic and the doctors recommended it. I just thought it was such an odd craving since I absolutely hate the taste.

maybe your iron is low? and that's why you're craving it?? i'd ask your doc (only because you've had such a hard time) or i would take a few sips just to satisfy your craving. how are you?

Hanging in there. I am not throwing up-but my stomach is still having digestive issues that actually hurt sometimes. I am on my back most of the day but I have to say hi to my ladies :)

A woman i know from England who drank Guiness a few times a week. She said there is vitamins in the dark beer?
I havent had any, but if i crave something, i will satisfy the craving. I've had a few sips of DH corona, just enough to get the taste, then i dont want it anymore.

You know I've been craving an ice cold Corona since I can remember...but I won't drink it...not even a sip...not worth the torture I'll put myself through later on worrying about it.

I have been craving margaritas all pregnancy. I had a small sip and it was enough for me but I still have a huge craving for a nice cold frozen margarita.

OMG I was craving them too (probably more for the salt & cold) & when we had the PG GTG at Cozymel's I had 3 virgin Margaritas....it totally did the trick

This is very common in Ireland. They say to have Guinness for medicinal purposes. It's full of iron and it is given to blood donors!
