Driving Restrictions?

Was anyone told in their last month to restrict their driving to the minimum?

Re: Driving Restrictions?

I was told that. You don't want to be driving around just because.

Re: Driving Restrictions?

I work about 1/2 an hour away, and I was just thinking---what would I do if my water broke while I was driving...crazy I know but...

Re: Driving Restrictions?

I hear you. I work 20-30 minutes from work and drive.

Following the incident where I had to go to the hospital last Thursday "IT'S NOT FUN!!". I work 40 minutes from Winthrop. The ambulance would only drive me to LIJ Plainview. That was OK for this time but it will be an issue when baby time comes.

I just hope it happens on a Friday or weekend so DH is with me.

Since it was an "emergency" last Thursday, his Cie paid a car service for me out of Manhattan. Which was great! It came to the hospital in less than 1 hour.

I did not plan on it. Now I may rethink the whole thing.

Re: Driving Restrictions?

My Dr. hasn't said anything to me about it yet. (I'm 38wks) I see him for my next check-up tomorrow night. Maybe he'll say something then.

ETS: I still feel comfortable driving. But my DH has been computing with me and driving us both to and from work for the past few months.

I wasn't. With ds I drove the day I went into labor and up until then. The furest I went though was maybe 30 minutes away and that was with a little bit of traffic.
