Does anyone have a hammock?
I'm looking to get a *really* good 2 person hammock for DH for Father's Day, so he can relax in the shade w/ our boys.  If you have one, what kind is it and how do you like it?

We replaced our old one last year with a net one from Walmart or Target. I recommend the net types b/c they don't collect leaves and stuff.
But, I DO NOT recommend getting a lower-end net hammock. You sink right to the ground. It is terrible. Worth the money to get a better one.

my dads a HUGE hammock fan.... he has a really nice rope one that he got from LL Bean- he and my mom lay in it all summer, and its held up really well....

We got a double one from my Brother and SIL one year. It is a net one, but it works great. I've been on the look out for a full-sized pad/cover for it. I know they make them, I jsut can't find it now that I want one! I think its from LL Bean, but I am not sure.
Here are the nieces and nephews enjoying it last summer:

I saw a really nice one at costco the other day, it wasnt a typical net hammock-it had a cushion...
and I thought it would be the perfect gift for DH for father's day...it was about $350.
A little more than other's Ive seen but I think its so worth it...if you saw it you'd want to get on & take a nap it was so inviting!

Thanks everyone. I didn't even think to check LL Bean! I definitely want to get the net one - just hoping the kids don't get stuck in there.

my Dh got me a new one from Target a couple of years ago. Its a hammock brand that is well known but I can't remember it.
I store it in the shed in the winter but other than that its out all the time & it still looks great, it dries quickly too.
Please excuse the plywood, this pic was before we put up the new fence.

I bought DH a hammock from Pottery Barn. It's got a huge wood base. It's really nice and comfortable.
I'm on it more than he is.

I bought the LL Bean hammock as a gift and the quality is great. Aside from that they stand by their product 100%

I saw a beautiful one at Costco yesterday....kind of like the one you posted Kathi, but it has a solid hammock. It was $290

I got a cyprus stand and a big hammock from overstock. We needed the stand since none of our trees would work good and we needed a bigger stand for the weight. Vin and the boys love it, and we hope to use it even more this year.

It actually stays very clean...the material is waterproof and it does not absorb water or any dirt....
Once in a while I water it down with a hose to keep it clean,,,that's it....it takes about 45 seconds to do that...
