Thank you everyone!

Thanks so much for everyone's posts before with my "Am I BAD if I don't cook every single day and pack lunch?"

See, the thing is... I like to cook for him and I enjoy doing nice things like packing his lunch... The hard part for me was when it became as though it was REQUIRED and my "duty".

So, tonight I made him dinner because MIL was not home and I had the kitchen to myself... I would make it a lot more if we had our own kitchen but for now we don't.

And we discussed that from now on- we will take turns making lunches- he's going to tell her that her lunch making services are no longer needed (lol)... the same goes for dinner-- when the kitchen is free we will do it together or switch and when it's not free- we'll just grab something out or make other arrangements.

THANKS so much though ladies!! And please understand- you are not living in cave man times if you DO cook everyday- it's just the "expected" part that got me.

I just read your other post....and for you!! Right now we share a house with MY inlaws too!!!

While we have our own Livingroom, bedroom & kitchen.....we have to share a bathroom........I know the aggrevation!!!!! Yours was the reason I chose kitchen over bathroom when we built the basement apartment......


I am glad you resolved things!!! It is a tough situation to live with other people & have to deal with their habits & stuff
