Seems to be the ongoing issue with baby gift buying....

Dont worry things will start to fly right before the shower.

I had a lot purchased early, but I know a lot of my family and especially DH's family like to believe they have the "best gift" and so I expected that.

But from the night before to the morning of the shower I think about 20 gifts were purchased if not more...so like someone said, it could be last minute buyers too.

Either they're all just last minute shoppers, or people are buying things not on the registry.

Don't worry, I had the same thing with mine.
I shop for the gift as soon as I can so I have a lot to choose from, but I noticed that my friends and family aren't the same way, lots of stuff came off the registry the weekend before the shower.

I know I've read other posts from people asking the same question -- and those same people had great showers! No worries!
