I think its hard to say or nay for other people without really knowing them or the family...
Sometimes I hear a name of one of my daughters friends and I think "what the heck were they thinking" and then I meet say the parents or the grandparents and it starts to make sense...

I agree too -- since the end of "Jack" and the beginning of "Carlos" have that same hard "K" sound, the names might blend together a bit.

Agree. If you're really set on them, I'd go for it though. How often will we really call our children by first and middle names? Not very often, at least for me.

Thats the thing, i like Jack and DH middle name is Carlos. He isnt to keen on Jack so we are trying to compromise. I didnt think it flowed either, thats why i had to ask.

It's all up to you in the end...who cares what everyone else thinks?
As someone pointed out, most people don't get referred to by their first and middle names anyway.
