D &C

For those girls who had a miscarriage and had to have a D & C, how long after the D & C did you get pregnant... I really dont want to wait 3 cycles to start trying again. I had my D & C on April 2. I want to get my first cycle in May and try again in June.. Am I crazy?? Any imput?? TIA

no-never happened to me but there has been alot on here regarding it.
Wait the three months.it's not worth a possibly pregnancy that will not hold...
it will go fast! three months will fly!

What did your dr. say? They usually want you to wait so "everything" goes back to normal.

I would wait a bit.

I didnt have a miscarriage but I did have a preterm birth with a retained placenta that required a D&C..

I had the D&C on April 18 and got pregnant immediately after that...I had my daughter on January 30 the following year (she was 4 weeks early)

One of my girlfriends has a miscarriage and she waited a few cycles as instructed by her dr. just to make sure everything was ok

I had my D&C in January and didn't get pregnant until September, but everyone is different!

My doc wanted me to wait until one full normal cycle to start trying again. Plus I was also advised against sexual activity for 6 weeks after the D&C

Im sorry for your loss....

I had a D&C on September 7th of this year, by advisement of the Doctor as I was 9 weeks and there was no heartbeat and the fetal pole had disappeared.

My Doctor advised to wait 1-2 cycles. We waited one and I got pregnant right away.......We conceived end of October and I am due July 24th....

My Dr. told us that we just had to wait until I got my regular period. That's what we did and we got preggo again that cycle.

I had to wait 2 cycles, but that is also becauuse we did IVF
