Anyone have a VBAC?

I had a c-section with my daughter because she was breech. I really want to try and have a natural birth this time. Just curious if any f you ladies have and would you reccomend? or any advice? Thankyou

I did. Same as you, my first was breech, so I had a c/s. My doc supported me 100% in trying for a VBAC from the minute I got pregnant with #2. My two are two years apart, almost to the day.

I HIGHLY recommend it, if all factors are with you to have it... If you need more info, you can search because I've posted about it before, or you can just FM me

I had an unnecessary c-section with my 1st and wanted a VBAC with my 2nd.

First and foremost, you have to find a supportive doctor or midwife. The Stonybrook midwives (from what I hear) are AMAZING. My OB (I live in Nassau) is the doctor I saw throughout my 2nd pregnancy, and he was 100% supportive and encouraging.

Unfortunately, I ended up with a repeat section due to feta distress, but that had NOTHING to do with the fact that I was a VBAC patient.

Wanted to add that this is my 3rd and I am scheduling a section this time, however, if I had wanted to attempt a VBA2C, he would have been supportive of that as well!
