was i wrong?
dh called from work and asked if he could go to the car show....
i told him i would rather him not... i'm having a c-section in 11 days, i'm already dilating and having cramping on and off the whole week, and LOTS of pressure down there..... and there is no one to stay with me tonight...ya know just in case....
he seemed fine with it.. but i feel bad now... even though he told a few friends a few days ago..."i have to pass on the car show this year... it's too close to our due date.."
but he's had a horrible week and woke up to go to work and someone hit his car overnight...
i feel bad now...
but it's so close to me due date!!

Honestly, I would want him to go. Like you said, the baby is due in 11 days and you both won't have time for anything but the baby...Im sure if something happened he would rush home to be with you or take you to the hospital.

My DH just brought up something similar that is scheduled for 7 days before I am due. But at the Big U/S the dr said I could give birth about a week early. I said no also b/c he would have to purchase the tickets now. I feel badly, but at the same time he would be 2 hours away, and we do not live near any family or friends. I told him there will be other events. I feel badly also.

I would not go but would want him to go.
We have a MAJOR ballgame tickets for a game sheduled 2 wks before my EDD. We decided that it would not be the smartest thing to do for me to go.
I told DH he should go with a friend. Now he tells me that he may not go. I do want him to go. It's a great game! I could always call him if something happens.

You aren't WRONG, but I would have told DH to go personally. I am sure h he would have rushed home if need be.
