What do you have on top of your
Dining room table to protect it? I don't know if we should get a table pad, a piece of glass or just use tablecloths/place mats? Curious what everyone else has, pics would be welcome too!

I had a table cover but I love to see the wood, and my damn cats scratched the hell out of the wood jumpin on and off the table , I have to contact broyhill and see what they rec, you cant see it unless you are looking for them- but I know they are there. I had a see through plastic cover and hated the glare it would give off from the sun, but I think I should put it back on- I got it from BBB.

Tablepad and tablecloth...and I use placemats when we eat to keep the tablecloth clean!!

I have nothing on my table normally besides a runner and flowers or candles (decoration).
When entertaining, I put down the table pads and those plastic table clothes on the bottom - pretty table cloth on top.

I have table pads, but only put them on when I have company over, or for Thanksgiving.

when I'm not entertaining in there I just have a runner on it with a handmade pottery tray holding candles from the fireplace arrangement from our wedding in that.
