Slowing Down

I am a little over 32 weeks, and I am really starting to slow down. My body just feels soo tired, and a little achy. Sleeping is the worst. I wake up seriously at least 7 times in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and have the hardest time falling back to sleep.

Is this normal for this time? It seems kinda early. I mean, I have a less than 8 weeks to go, but thats a pretty decent amount of time...

Sounds right..Unfortunately.

I said this before and esp for me who overall had it somewhat good but 3rd tri isnt the best....it draws so much out of you!

You get tired all over again and the bladder..well, its now being mooshed cause baby is bigger.

Hang in there...8wks will go by...before you know it Chat Icon

Re: Slowing Down

Im just 30 weeks and I feel the same. I can barely walk around and getting up from sitting is a nightmare, as is getting up from bed. It takes up to 5-10 seconds before my hips stop the intense pain and allow me to walk.

Re: Slowing Down

I'm 31 weeks and have definitely noticed myself having to slow down. DH has to help push me out of the bed sometimes because it's getting to tough to haul myself out Chat Icon Chat Icon And I definitely notice my joints are more achey.

Re: Slowing Down

I am at almost 30 weeks and today it hit me that I have to slow down... it has been so busy at work and everybody including myself keeps thinking that nothing has changed... I was just so tired today at work, I realized that I am asking too much of myself... so dont worry, I know how you are feeling...

That kicks in around 30 weeks. I woke up a million times at that point. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon But as far as slowing down, I couldn't even if I wanted to. I taught dance until the day before I delivered. Chat Icon

Re: Slowing Down

I'm 35 weeks and a colleague of mine noticed that a month ago, right around the 30 week mark, I was just dragging myself to and fro. She honestly didnt think I'd make it across campus to teach my classes. I dont think it necessarily gets better - but you do get used to it - I feel better now than I did at 30/31 weeks. It's like my body went into shock from the return of exhaustion/body aches etc and now I'm just dealing with it better.

Hang in there!Chat Icon

Re: Slowing Down

It's funny, I am 36 weeks tomorrow and I said at my dr's appointment yesterday that in the 3 weeks since I had been there last that I have really gone down hill. My hands and feet are swollen and I can barely hold anything in my right hand and my left wrist feels like it is broken.
