Did anyone see that LI-IVF was in the paper?
Specifically, Dr. Kenigsberg regarding the switch of the husband's sperm with the Commack couple.
Linky
Just thought it was interesting.

I thought of Dr Kenigsberg's book right away when this happened. In the book, he discusses recommended procedures to avoid mixups. From my limited experience, he and his staff seem to be very thorough and they don't skip steps on anything.

From that article: I can not even imagine how horrible for EVERYONE involved, and those poor boys
"As a result of the procedure, Donna Fasano, a white woman from Staten Island, gave birth to fraternal twin boys, one white and one black. She took the children home and was raising them as her own when a black couple from New Jersey, who had not gotten pregnant at the in vitro clinic, found out that Fasano had delivered a black baby.
A court case ensued and genetic tests revealed that Robert Rogers of Teaneck, N.J., was the father. The black boy was only a few months old when he was given back to the New Jersey couple, and has lived with them ever since. Nash was found not guilty in the mix-up. The judge ruled the laboratory was at fault, Nash said. "

Good to know he puts stuff away before he works on a new one. At least since I'm going there for IUI I know he won't screw up!

It was invitro (IVF) so there were two or more embryos implanted in her uterus. Apparently, one of the embies either wasn't hers or had been fertilized with the other man's sperm.
