My update: There is no update...
Baby is way too comfortable in here - must be all the chocolate and junk food I have been eating....
No dilation. No effacement. Head hardly even dropped.
We are still talking about not letting me go a week past my due date, so there is an end in sight. Its just 2 weeks from today.
This kid takes after daddy. Daddy does everything in his own sweet @ss time!

Coming from someone who was 11 days late...my advice, get all the sleep you can now. I still regret not sleeping more during the month I had off from work before Noah was born!
So if that baby is happy in there...get into your bed and sleep! lay on the sofa drinking lovely cups of tea reading gossip magazines!!!

I am so exhausted all I CAN do is sleep lately - I feel like I am getting nothing else done - I'm still working too - today I went home to take a nap before my dr. appointment!!!!

I'm sorry. Hang in there....I don't understand why they can't induce you now if not at 40 weeks? That part confuses me, I thought the baby was ready anytime after 39 weeks....Anyway, hang in there

I really don't want to be induced yet. even though I'm tired and a little uncomfortable, I don't have this "get it out already" feeling really... I do because I'm tired and am ready for the baby, but otherwise physically I'm still feeling pretty ok... also, at this point, my cervix is not ready, the baby is not ready, my fear is that inducing at this point will only bring on a c-section, which I REALLY do not want to happen at all!!!
I really want to be as natural as possible with all of this....

this is exactly how I feel. I was just telling Dh I am scared I am I never going to go into labor and it is going to be a nightmare. My official due date is next Monday 4/2 and my dr. said they let you go another week before inducing, but even though another 2 wks seems like a lot, it really doesnt to me.
We need lots of LABOR VIBES!!!!!!!!!!

AWWW! I agree, rest as much as you can, take walks, read trashy magazines, take a nice long hot shower.... all the things that you take for granted now 
And my dear.... WHEN is your last day of work!!??!!??? Time to throw in the towel and take some time for YOU!

My dad is like - enough working already - but we cant afford anytime off  I dont want to lose any paid time with the baby!!!

I know how you feel about losing paid time with the baby. I worked until the week before the induction and my lousy job charged me with the week. What would I have done if I had to go out a lot earlier?
Maybe the baby likes all the junk food and chocolate you have been eating and that is why its not ready to leave!!
