Just go to the police station, that's what we're going to do. I know we'll be struggling

its a pain in the tush.
Does your car have the LATCH system?
Your local fire department can help you install it, BRU will help you too!

Re: man i just tried...
I got my sis to show me. Between me and her shopping lately with my niece, I have become a pro of getting her in/out of the base into the snugride, etc.

Re: man i just tried...
You do not need the seatbelt if your car has the LATCH.
There will be 2 "hooks" in between the cushions of the seat and the back of the seat in the car.
You attach the hooks from the carseat to those, and then tighten them as tight as they will go.
The front of the carseat base (the part thats closest to the front seat of the car) is not going to be tight. It will still lift up, but the botton part will not move.
Good luck!

Check out this link. It shows pictures of different carseats and how they are installed into the cars.

Re: man i just tried...
Good luck with it!
The car seat is one of my more trivial parenting fears, but a fear regardless. I am TERRIBLE at putting things together, following instructions, etc...
