What I Am Most Excited About...
I am so excited to watch my dog Murphy run around in his fully fenced yard without the 20' lead he is used to.
We have a backyard right now but no fence and I could never trust that he wouldnt run away.
This will be like his own private dog run... now to get DH to allow me another dog...

That's all I wanted when I first bought my house. I actually purchased the picket fence and painted it in my 2-bedroom apartment before I closed, so it could go right up for my puppy!

I was so excited about that too! When we bought our house that was the first thing we had done. We have 1/2 an acre so we fenced in 100'x50' with a 6' stockade.
I love it. It's rare down here in NC for anyone to have a privacy fence, most of the newer neighborhoods have rules so they won't let you put one in. We live in an older neighborhood so we don't have any rules here.
I have 2 Siberian Huskies. It took a while for me to convince my DH to get a 2nd one. But he caved!

when we bought our house, it was my children who i was so excited about running around the yard...i guess that comes after the puppies.

Gizmo has always had a fenced in yard his whole life. But the difference between my moms house and our new house is we have a few trees (my mom had none) and we have a lot of neighbor dogs that Gizmo loves to sniff through the fence.
He is going to love his new backyard!
