Does anyone have any ideas of what I can get my Dr?
Because he is a friend of the family, he treats me so good, I never wait, he sneaks me in the back door, he calls me at home and saw me last minute for an emergency. He even called the ultrascreen Dr. and asked him not to make me wait in the waiting room on Thursday!!
I've seen in his office those edible arrangements and I don't want to get that, I don't want to get flowers or anything, but is there something nice that I could send him and his staff as a thank you? I can't seem to think of anything appropriate, aside from maybe a thank you card. When the pg is over, we are going to get him something really nice, should I just wait until then?
TIA!

How about a cookie basket? Or just bringing in a box of donuts or cookies for them??

I always think that a gift certificate to a nice restaurant is a nice idea. So many people don't treat themselves enough And maybe with his busy schedule as a doctor, it might be a nice night out for him and his SO.

If you want to have something to send to the whole office though there are wine & fruit baskets, or you can check out Dean & DeLuca online.

We loved our doctor and we made a huge basket filled with italian gourmet items... ex: espresso coffee, espresso coffe pot, espresso cups, cookies, chocolates, nutella, peppers, figs, homemade wine, a framed picture of him and our son after c-section and another picture of our son all cleaned up, etc
Our dr loves Italy so the basket was appropriate~
I would wait until after you deliver the baby..what you might want to do is at your next visit maybe pickup some cookies or something sweet for them

I would probably bring them breakfast one day, bagels, cream cheese, etc. Then, when the baby is born, send something big if you like!

When I went in to have my staples removed, I made a nice plate of brownies for them. I know they enjoyed them b/c when I stopped in to pick up paperwork the next morning, they were finishing them up!
