pain worsening after ER
Hey guys
I feel like I should be getting better but I feel like the pain is getting worse today since ER.
It is so hard to walk, stand staight or sit up.
UGH. anyone have this, or have any advice?? Should I have called RE?

I was very crampy but i would call just to be on the safe side. You wouldn't want to jeporadize your transfer in anyway! I hope you feel better!

I had the same thing though. I was horrible 2 days afterwards, I had to stay home from work and couldnt walk or move around the ENTIRE day. I was close to Hyperstim'ing and I didnt even have that many eggs( 15)....So it could be why for you too.
They will want to check or review your labs, make sure its not a possibility.
For me...I didnt feel 100% ok walking around even on transfer day ....
So dont freak. Some peopel are just sensitive, they were in there messing your ovaries around with a big old needle. Not supposed to feel good ya know?

I felt the same way a few times after ER
For me, I think it was constipation from the anesthesia

Thanks guys. I am trying to drink as much water and gatorade as I can. I am taking tylenol as well.
I will call in the morning to get the update on my embies and let them know.
You guys defintaely made me feel a lot better!!

I felt the same exact way after ER. I couldnt sit or stand up it hurt...felt like really bad gas pains TMI sorry. I called the RE and he didn't seem to concerned...I think I was borderline hyperstim. Drink lots of gatorade and water and get rest. For me the did a sono right before ET and saw I had some fluid but not bad enough to do a FET later on. Good Luck and feel better!

I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you. I felt nothing until 5 days after retrieval and ended up hyperstimming badly. So, I would think it's actually better if you are a little crampy right off the bat. Just take it easy until you are feeling better.
