Passed the Glucose Test!
Yay!! Dr's office just called. Passed the glucose test. Woo-hoo!!  And I just went Saturday and already heard back, I was surprised!!!
The nurse said my hemoglobin count was low. She said anything below a 11 is considered low, and mine was a 10.9, so I need to take a regular iron supplement twice a day now. I asked what dosage, she said it was just regular OTC iron supplement that I should pick up, and take it twice a day, with OJ for better absorption. Anyone else have to take this?

Congrats!!!!
I think that is pretty common - they told me the same thing - that I needed to get Iron pills. They recommended ones to get - I actually went to pick them up this morning but the pharmacy was out so I'll try again this afternoon. They didn't tell me how much to take though - I guess I'll see what the bottle recommends.

Yeah, I hear it's common too. I asked the nurse if I should get something specific (brand, dosage, etc) but she said no, just the regular supplement you can find in any store. She said to take it twice a day, make sure to space them out, and to drink OJ when taking them, it helps the body absorb it.
