Started the project-separating rooms UPDATE 24 April more done

I'm excited, we've started another big home project, to separate one big room into two small-med bedrooms. We have a split level house. The top floor has a dining, formal living, kit, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Downstairs has a large family room and this space, the one we're dividing. We're making a hallway and two bedrooms. The rooms, a bath, the laundry will all be off of the hall so you don't have to tramp through this large room anymore. It is now my DH's office and he loved all the space, but it was just kinda awkward and empty. Its a 20'x13' room, will turn into one 10'x10' BR and another 10'x13' BR, decent size rooms but not huge. Work starts on Weds...I'll update as it gets messy and into the work!

First pic is looking into the doorway. Door will be taken down and a hallway put up.

Second is looking at the two beams. The hallway will be from the wall (bath) to the beam.

Wall separating room will be where the middle of the bookshelf is.

And we're off! The carpet is up, started on electrical and framing the rooms. As always, Paisley just following everybody around ready to help.

Walls are up, just a little more done. We should be finished with everything except flooring next week. We'll paint, then have the flooring put in. And there the pooch, again.

First pic without Paisley, but Piper is in there...

Walls are almost done, primed. They will be painted next week and the light fixtures completed. Then new flooring within the next 3 weeks. Getting there slowly.

New floors started going in yesterday and they'll be done today! I'll ahve to take some pictures! WOOHOOO! So excited.
