due date discrepancy

By my calculations (and I can't go by last period) I think my due date is around June 9th, which would make me almost 28 weeks. My level 2 measured me as due June 17 (25 weeks now), which doesn't make sense to me, but that's what it was. Today, I went for my 25 week appointment and the Dr. said my belly is measuring 28 weeks!! I said, "That's what I think I am!" Anyway, she's sending me back for another sonogram on Tuesday to check measurements.

Has anyone else had this happen???? I could understand a few days difference in due date, but 2 weeks???

Yes. I had a four week window, LOL. I thought I was let's say 20 weeks, doctor thought I was 18 week sand the Level II tech said I was 24 weeks. I ended up goig into labor one day after my original due date given to me by my Dr.

The most accurate measurements are those from the very beginning of the pregnancy. You could just have a big baby (like I did!).

Yeah, I've heard a few different things at my appointments. Back at the early sonos, they said that I may be a few days further than I was originally told, but if it wasn't more than 5 days difference, they wouldn't chage the due date. So who the heck knows!

At my last 3 sonos I measure 5 days earlier than my ODD.

I know they counted from my LMP. When in fact I am pretty sure of my conception date and I was a 26 day cycle not 28. Which means the sono measurements are actually correct. Since it is just a few days discrepancy they did not change the ODD.

But that's OK... it will be a bit sooner and I am "counting" on it.
