buying clothes ?????

I will be attending a business meeting when I am at 7 weeks. I dress casual unless I have meetings. I have worn the same 2 suits, with different color blouses to the last several meetings. I do not think I can get away with the same suit even one more time. If I buy something non-maternity, I won't get much use of it later on in the spring, will I? If I buy something maternity, I will look ridiculous. I guess I should just try to shop for a bargain, nonmaternity, maybe slightly loose on me. What would you do? I need to shop soon because I sometimes need alterations.

And what about a Christening that I have to attend at 8.5 weeks. I do not currently have anything appropriate to wear. I'd like to buy something that I can wear later in the Spring. What should I buy and where should I shop?

ETA: No one at any of these "events" will know anything yet.

eBay has some great maternity shops for all sizes. In the beginning I jsut went up a size, but that only lasted me until about 16W then I had to go with maternity clothing.

I would buy something you are comfy in non maternity a size up for both events.

You can always wear it after you have the baby when you are in between maternity clothes and your pre pg clothes/weight.
