well I guess good thing is..I am a c-section--its not a get things going internal. it is just to see if I am dilating.
I am still not 100% I might refuse it.

I went and it turned out I can put it off another week,
I have to do the strep b but I do not have to have a internal...
so 1/2 the humiliation isn't bad

I wasn't crazy about my 1st internal last week either. I have another one this wednesday. Not only did it hurt, but scared the hell out of me b/c I bled after. I just keep telling myself it's almost over!!!!

depends on what kind of internal.
I am a c-section so no....I am just tired of being man-handled. I have dealt with vaginal sonos and exams sometimes 2x a week,
if u are a vaginal birth and they want to "get things going" meaning strip your membranes then it can be uncomfortable.
Personally..I do not believe in them.
A baby will come when its ready..why bother.
Don't worry..I am just grossed out at this point.

Strip your membranes? I'm so glad I haven't read this far in my book yet, because it sounds horrible!!!!

I've already had plenty of people up there in the last two and a half years. I used to tell DH I needed to wear underwear that said "Doctors at work"
It's crazy, but I got over it a long time ago.
