Burnt Plug?
I was cooking Quesadilla's and forgot to unplug. As we were eating I smelled smoke, and duh I almost had a fire. The plug was sparking and I pulled it out. I am wondering should I throw the Quesadilla maker away? I am kinda afraid to use it now...anyone have any experience or advice. The plug is black and a little charred. Thanks so much!

Re: Burnt Plug?
I would definitely toss it...there is probably a short somewhere and it's not safe to use.

I agree - toss it.....and if it's new, bring it back to the store where yu got it stating what happened and get a new one.
