Above kitchen cabinets?

If your cabinets do not go to the ceiling, what do you put on top of them? Any pictures?

you can top it with crown molding and put baskets, a collection of any sort actually....my friend has some roosters

I have bowls on top, my waffle maker, stuff I like to use but now use often. We are in an apt andh have not much storage space.

But if I had the space I would put some pretty flowers up there

You can always decorate it with Ivy vines and some baskets with dried flowers. Depending on the theme of your kitchen you can do almost anything

in my townhouse I had cookie jars, baskets, silk greenery. I used old phone books to get the stuff to sit at the right height. Usually the cabinets are not flat with the edge you see on top. It worked well.
In our new house the kitchen has very high ceilings & our cabs would have had a really big space so we built soffits to follow the shape of the cabinets. Then I hung art up there.
