I had my 4D sono today and my wouldn't cooperate..she was facing towards my back and wouldn't turn..ugh

so I am going back in two weeks...how frustrating..

has this happened with anyone?

My was posing for the camera but my had his front turned toward my back.

Second time, his face was very close to the placenta so it's really not the best picture in the world.

I have another ultrascreen tomorrow and I'll see if the tech will flip the switch 4D to see if we can get one try at 's little face.

It's not uncommon that they don't cooperate the first time.

yep!! just happened to me today! I had my 20 week sono and they were able to tell it was a girl but couldn't take all the measurments they needd becouse she wouldn't flip. She was facing toward my back the whole time! I have to go back in 2 weeks!

Yes, it happened to me last Thursday. My DH was sooo disappointed. However, the Dr. was amazing (not my normal OB) and invited us back in 2 weeks, free of charge, and told us not to spend the extra $ for the video and wait until the next appt. to see if we get better shots.

On an interesting note, he said that he finds don't cooperate as much as the . He said that he's read nothing scientific on it, but does these sonograms frequently and continually finds the same issues with the . He actually has a and a and it took him 4 times to actually get good pics with his . He recommended that I really pay attention to what she likes (gets her moving) in the next 2 weeks. He said try different types of candy and even Starbucks.
