does anyone follow the graphs in Newsday...

that show the mediam home sales for queens, nassau & suffolk?
Did anyone notice Nassau dropped alot?
Queens & suffolk are sorta holding their own.
This is probably good news for those still house hunting in nassau!!

I haven't seen the one in Newsday but they post housing stats on MLS. Jan 07 compared to Jan 06 looks like the average selling price (which i think is much more relevant than the median) it only dropped about 2.5% according to the graph on MLS. Here is the link:

I'm sure the volume is down - but it doesnt look like prices are coming down nearly as much as people had hoped.....
