Can someone please recommend

a nice hotel and restaurant in NYC?

I am planning my 1 yr anniversary and we want to stay and eat somewhere fancy.

Restaurants- if you really want to go all out, the Four Seasons. It wasn't just a meal, it was an experience. Expensive as hell and I am sure we'll never do it again, but it was awesome.

Hotels- only stayed at LeParker Meridien, which I wouldn't recommend. Overpriced.

I love the W hotel in Union Square.

Of course the Waldorf Astoria is historic and beautiful.

the Maritime is a newfancy type place as is the hotel gansevort.

There are so many restaurants in NYC- it depends on where your hotel is and what type of food you want...
just had dinner at Beppe on 22nd street- totally fabulous Italian food....
