Ladies, I already have a question...

I just started walking on the treadmill again after a few months. Now that I am pregnant, is it safe to do right in the beginning? I don't see my doc until 2/26 and I hate to keep calling them Chat Icon I really need some exercise.

I walked on the treadmill early on, before my first appt. But I went at a MUCH slower pace and a lower incline. To compensate I walked a little longer.

As all research has proven, just don't do MORE than you've been doing. Whatever you've gotten used to should be fine. Obviously this means over time you might have to slow it down and no stepping it up...but keeping the same pace with any/all exercise is recommended every place I've looked.Chat Icon

I was told treadmill was fine just to not overheat or get my heartrate over 120 beats per minute.
