but, if I am 6w 4d pregnant then I am in my 7th week? I am in my 6th week?

In other words, I am 6 weeks pregnant correct? This confuses me.

Yes - you are in your 6th week.

put it this way, when you were 3 days pregnant, you were in your first week, but you wouldn't have said it until the 7 days were up [well...you wouldn't have said it at all as you were on your period ]. I hit 22 FULL weeks on Friday...so I am IN my 23rd week. This took some reasoning to figure out, but if this weren't true, then my DD was 2 weeks early based on what I thought was considered being IN a week but that would've been impossible since she was 8 days early.

Hint: you are 40 FULL weeks on your due date, not beginning your 40th week, otherwise, it would take an additional week to say you were late! HTH

so in your situation, you are 6 weeks AND 4 days pregnant. So you are 4 days INTO your 7th week.

When someone says Im 6 weeks PG, it means you have finished your 6th week.

So yes technically like explained, your in your 7th week, but they usually dont say it that way. Which is confusing as all hell!
