Shower locations...help.

So, I have only been on LI for 2 years and out of DH's friends here, we are the first to have a child...and the first in years to have a child in his family. So there have been no baby showers recently for me to attend in any fashion.


What are some good locations? We live in Nassau [think Syosset/Woodbury/Westbury area] and since my aunt in FL is planning it, I need to make this as easy for her as possible as well.

MIL offered up her house, but honestly between some bad times I've experienced there, people who live there being able to roam about in front of us and be in and out, and the fact that no one room can comfortably accommodate 20+ people, I just don't see that as a great option. At the holidays, it's jammed with 15 people and they are spread throughout the house roaming. Plus, it will be right after Easter, which is held at my in-laws'...so it will feel like such a complete repeat.

grrr. I should've known she'd offer up her house and make it sound appealing.

Mims in syosset does showers, so does Coolfish.
you can also try cafe tuscano on jericho in syosset.

We had ours at Johnathan's in garden city - private room if you have more than 50ppl. It was great!
