ultrascrren question
does anyone know which carries more weight, the blood or the nuchal measurement? had my nuchal today, doc told me the measurement was good, and wondering if I can relax yet

My Dr told me they look at the results of the nuchal measurements, the blood work and the Level 2 sono and take all 3 into consideration to figure the chances of.
When I went for my Nuchal, the Dr said things look good, but the lab evaluates the results and blood work. He also said this test is not conclusive, it doesn't say Yes or No to Trisomy/Downs Syndrome.

I don't know which one carries more weight, but when I had mine, the tech and dr. said that the nuchal measurements were "very good", so I didn't worry about the bloodwork, and everything came back low risk.
