Does anyone else feel like showering is a chore?
I used to love my showers but now they just seem to take A LOT of energy. I'm just not interested in them anymore 
Anyone else feel the same?

OMG! That is SO me...and I have to shower at night b/c if I wait til the morning before work it makes me puke (sorry, TMI)
Plus, our shower scares me. You have to step up, to step down and then vice versa when you get out, DH is convinced it is unsafe.

Me too! I had to enlist the help of DH last night to um, give me a trim 
Haven't shaved my legs in weeks...not sure DH is up for that, he's afraid he'd cut me.

Not only is the showering a chore, but after you get out, the lotion, the hair drying etc, i take about 4 breaks during the time i get ready!

Yes I can barely reach to clean my feet my big belly gets in the way. And shaving takes forever.

when I was pregnant I felt the exact same way......standing for all that time and then having to shave
then all the drying of the hair after you get out
what a hassle

Showers haven't been that difficult except for shaving recently.
I do wonder what it will be like to shower AFTER baby. I fear I will have five minutes to do it all.

I agree.
Shaving is interesting
Sometimes I go in again at night as the warm water helps if I have sciatica.
I often find myself enjoying the time, knowing full well it will probably be years before I can take a long hot shower again w/o little people coming in the bathroom

after showering.. lotioning up is a chore for me! it's hard to bend where you need to to get to every single part! it feels like a work out that you dread before entering the shower. i don't even bother with shaving anymore! LOL

Me too. I can get my lower legs, but not my upper. I need to figure something out though because I don't want to be giving birth with hairy legs! and I don't do wax.

I love them still only because they wake me up. I never like getting out of bed when I'm nice and warm but the sooner I get in the shower, the warmer I am.

Showering NEVER felt like a chore.......... but shaving did feel like a chore and I was very pregnant in the summer and I HAD to shave every day~

It's a real chore!
My hair is now long and I do NOTHING with it and decided to be a "natural" mom with no make-up.
In regards to shaving, to make it a bit easier, I used the "intuition" razor. I can't deal with the cream in one hand, the razor in the other.
I find brushing my teeth to be a pain. I gag and bleed a lot.

YES. I dread it, I have to rest before taking one and shaving is a whole other story

I was waiting for someone to post this. I don't mind showering but HATE shaving. I was only shaving once a week when I had to go to the doctor and that seemed like a chore. Now that I will be 30 weeks this sat. I've decided that I need to be properly groomed and prepared just in case I have to go to the hospital or an unforseen doc visit...so I've been shaving every day. I swear I almost gave birth the other day trying to shave. It's like a cruel joke or some kind of punishment.
