pregnancy question
for those of you in or pst your 1st trimester----
( God I am scared to post here yet)
My question is.......if you are 5 weeks pregnant and had morning sickness 3 days in a row and for 2 days none is that ok?
SOmetimes I feel pregnant ( nauseous etc)
Sometimes I feel great ( like I did before I got pregnant)
Is this normal?
I am a bit nervous about my pregnancy as I am still in the beginning- I am hoping for the best.
Thanks for your help

Re: pregnancy question
First- Congrats!!!!
I felt a little sick for a few hours everyday and it always started at like 11am. Now, I don't feel anything, I wonder if I'm still PG 1/2 the time. If you don't feel the nausea- thank GOD! My main symptoms were my ever so soar boobies and fatigue like I've never known!

Re: pregnancy question
First off - CONGRATS
I am a little over nine weeks and posted almost an identical question a few weeks ago. I still go through this. My symptoms vary a lot from day to day. The funny thing is - when the nausea is bad I long for the moments when i feel good - then when i feel good, i am worrying why i don't feel sick! i can't win!
But, yes - totally normal!

Re: pregnancy question
You sound totally normal. I haven't had ANY morning sickness with this baby yet with my first, I was heaving all over the place! My breasts are barely sore this time around as well...no 2 pregnancies are alike so just because a book or website says you will/can experience XXX symptoms doesn't mean you WILL for sure. I've actually felt better [aside from fatigue] during this pregnancy than "normal" because I am not getting my period and feeling lousy from PMS and such.

Re: pregnancy question
Erica - I know how nervous you are. But I can tell you I am now 23 weeks (well, tomorrow ) and I have YET to feel nauseated. So I don't think that is an indication of the pregnancy being viable -- I think for a lot of women it comes and goes...

Re: pregnancy question
I had a lot of unpredictability at first too- felt pretty good some days, and though I never had m/s, I had definite days where I felt a little "funky" and had a lot of food aversions, then next day, I didn't even feel pregnant at all!

Re: pregnancy question
It is soooo easy to freak out in the beginning. No two days felt the same either, and then with every "new" feeling I was sure it was something bad.
Try to relax & keep a journal. You'll be amazed in a few weeks how you felt in the beginning
