need help with ideas

if you could design and build your own house...what would you put on your definite must have list..what's the most important things to you in your house! thanks!

i would LOVE my washer and dryer/laundry room to be on the same floor as the bedroom... my aunt and uncle have that and it is awesome!! If not a laundry shoot would be awesome! Garbage disposals are fun, but not many people on LI have them...

I would also love walk in closets, a linen closet actually in the bathroom, a private master bathroom... a decent sized pantry, fireplace, porch, deck, finished basement... hmm...i can go on and on!

a full finished basement; a wrap around porch; a huge eat in kitchen with a center island; a private bathroom off the master bedroom with a whirlpool tub, plus at least another bathroom and a half; a living room AND a den; a fireplace; a 2 car garage that with a door connecting to the house, so you don't have to go outside in the freezing cold/snow/rain to get in your car ; a large laundry room; walk in closets in all bedrooms; a linen closet in at least one of the full bathrooms; and a large pantry in the kitchen.

-two person steam shower in master bath
-big jacuzzi tub in master bath(we have this & love it)
-fireplace in master bath
-laundry shoot or laundry on same floor as bedrooms
-acreage with barn
-large outdoor living space with kitchen
-big coat closet(we don't have one now & it bugs me)
-Mud room with entrance from driveway
-great room(we have one & enjoy the layout)
-big stone fireplace in great room
-everything energy star, solar power, geo-thermal heat & ac
-two car garage

that's all I can think of now
