Where did you get your glider from

My aunts are chipping in and buying it for me - so I don't want to get anything crazy expensive. I would love to stay around the $500 range for the chair and ottoman. Is that reaching? I want the one that looks more like a couch than a rocker.

I was thinking of pricing them out today but it's just too cold out there!

Yes, you will find one for that amt if not cheaper.

I know Buybuybaby and BRU carry them.

I was at behrs and theirs are a little more customized to your taste and I think I found one for $350 or so w/ottoman.
Im hoping my MIL is getting it for me even though I feel bad its quite pricey.

That might be a place to ck out.

I went to Behr's the other day and there were two that I liked. One was 399 and the other was 469. The ottoman for both was 189. Of course the one for 469 was much more comfy. Maybe I will go check out the other stores today. When I get something in my head I will obsess over it until I know what I want.

Get the most confortable one. You won't use it if it's not. If you have a doubt about people being able to afford it. Tell them to "participate" and give gift certificate where you want to buy it. You may have to chip in a little bit but you will get what you want.

i got a big comfy one from babies r us - i didnt get the ottoman to go with it only because that was about $200 more and I couldnt spend it on that - i did order from target they had a nursing stool to keep your feet on and it was just as well - i also saw the stool at buy buy baby..hth
