Not if you start dealing with tantrums immediately. Once the child knows they don't have any effect, they won't last a minute, trust me! Clearly that child never learned that...

Mine son is younger than that and I hope he never has a tantrum that would get me kicked off a plane.
We did have a lovely encounter in Stride Rite on Sunday though!

Unfortunately tantrums/meltdowns happen with toddlers. DS has had a few tantrums, but the usually don't last more than 10 mins when he realizes we are ignoring him. I dread the day that he has one in public.......I say a prayer before we get on a plane with DS. Not that he understands now, but we also talk to him before we get on and tell him that he needs to behave and be a good boy.
