For those addicted to salt like me
My BP is fine and has always been but I know I MUST slow down on the salt while I am PG.
If you are an addict to salt like me, is salt "substitute" OK to take while PG. Are they "safe"?

If your BP is fine, you may not have to worry. Pregnancy brings your BP DOWN...especially from the 2nd trimester on...

Salt does add to the swelling issues though.
I think I read that salt substitutes are fine.

Yes it sure does. And unfortunately due to the bag of popcorn I ate last night, my right hand swelled up so bad I can't even make a fist!! 
I learned my lesson

It's a "fake" salt that they sell in the grocery store. It is supposed to mimic the taste of salt.
