For those having girls
What are you using as your babies take home outfit? What about an outfit for the pics in the hospital? I am having some trouble finding something cute....also are you bring newborn size or size 0-3 months>?
TIA

Re: For those having girls
I bought a little "frilly" dress. It is 0-3 months because they didnt carry newborn, with black shoes and "frilly"socks. lol And for the pictures at the hospital, my sister bought a newborn pink scrub set that has a place to write her name dob and doctor. So I will be using that in some of the pics.

Re: For those having girls
I haven't decided yet. Both of mine will be smaller than average, probably about 5 lbs and change.
I'll bring a couple of outfits and see what fits the best.
She's going home in a pink fleece two piece hooded suit over whatever outfit. I have a matching one in blue.

I didn't realize they let you "dress up" the baby for hospital pics. I just thought they take a pic of the baby in their onesie and cap. I don't even think I was aware of the day/time they were taking the hospital pics when I had my son. Of course this was 8 years ago.

If they tried to tell me what she can and cannot wear for her first photos, wow they would really hate me and want me to go home already! lol But i know the hospital Im using lets us put them in anything we please. I done asked!! lol

Re: For those having girls
I think my mom said something about wanting to choose her going-home outfit. If not, I really like this. It's from BRU. Though I worry about her belly button and the cord stump- so I might get the one-piece.

Re: For those having girls
I really want something with a matching blanket for a take home outfit. I've looked and can't find much. Anyone know of any good sites?

I found a cute kimono (sp?) type outfit from Baby Gap with matching hat and blanket. I brought my daughter home in that. The newborn section usually has cute ensembles like that.
It was cute but more importantly, comfortable for the baby

Re: For those having girls
I would bring both sizes. My DD wore a newborn home and it was swimming on her. I ended up buying a couple of preemie outfits that she is still wearing.
