Just curious...
I am due in May 8 and have been trying to decide when to have the shower (don't want a surprise). I was thinking of doing March 25, but the place I REALLY want only has the small room available (MAX 35) and there is a chance there could be more than 35 guests.
The next possible date I could do is April 15. Being that is only 3 weeks before my due date, do you think that's too late in the pregnancy to have the shower?

I wouldn't try to put more than what they tell you the max is..... You want people to be comfortable and be able to move around.
I know when I was 37 weeks with DS, I was in no mood to be the center of attention. But everyone is different. I had my shower at 32 weeks bc I had to travel to NY.
Maybe you can find another location that you like just as much as the one with max of 35.

why not before march 25th?
I know me and I do not want my shower past a certain point..like 30 weeks...cause Im not gonna want to get dressed, attention etc at that stage, so I purposely made it earlier.

i agree with the previous poster. dont try to fit more then 35 in a room with 35 max. you need alot of extra room for all the presents. also i had my shower at 36 weeks and i was VERY uncomfortable. keep looking. there are so many terrific shower places around. i know you will find a great one.

I'm not sure how far along I'll be... but, I'm due July 10 (hope this baby arrives in June). I want to be comfortable and be able to move around putting it all away, so I'm having the shower the first week of May.
Does the place you want have anything before March 25?

Well, I am due 5/3 and my shower is currently scheduled for April 14th. I got a lot of negative feedback, but it seems to be the only weekend my family can do, so that is going to be THE date.
ETA: and there is a good chance that I'll go early, oh well, then my mom will have to set everything up
