What does it feel like to be really PG?
I've always wondered what it feels like to be PG. Right now, I am in my 7th week- and so far, I just feel a little bloated, exhausted, and sometimes naseous!
I just cant imagine what its like to have a big belly with a little person in there?
So, those who are further along- what do us early preggos have to look forward to? Do you just feel fat, bloated, etc? Tell us!!

Sometimes I will feel a twinge when I walk it makes me stop.

For me my 2nd trimester I had all my energy and felt "normal". I'd be at work and "forget" I was even PG..Always busy at work too.
Third trimester...Im exhausted. Im at the end of my pregnancy and am sooo tired. I feel pretty big in my belly, but, everytime the baby moves, it brings a smile to my face.
I love being pregnant and cannot wait to meet my little one.

For me it actually feels pretty normal so far, but we'll see once I am at the 30w+ mark

honestly... you feel huge and it makes things hard, like putting on your shoes and socks and shaving and getting off the couch and getting in and out of the car....
You don't feel 'normal' so to speak, you are definitely aware of that large belly in front of you, but it's def. worth it and it's an amazing feeling to know that you have a little baby growing inside you

Now that my belly is popping out and rounding...I have to say that most of the time it feels great. When I am sitting down - I find my hands wrapped around my tummy and I can't help but smile. Also love the flutters.
There are times when it's a little difficult. Your tummy gets firm moving gets difficult. You can't sit up - you roll and you can't bend so easily. You get creative with how you move in and out of bed and sitting positions..not always comfortable but it is what it is. Great time to get others to help. DH has fun rolling me from a sitting position.  I can get out of bed on my own so far.

I actually feel womderful....it is a little strange to feel the baby rolling around in there. I do not feel bloated, just fat....
It is a great feeling. I will be 30 weeks on Tuesday

it felt normal to me. because the belly grows so gradually over the nine months, you wont really feel a huge change when 9 months comes. granted its harder to get up from the sitting position and obvious stuff like that. but i didnt really feel a big change. ok,i rambled too much. lol.

It is like a gradual change - for me, the belly feels natural for some reason.... Its difficult when I'm trying to sleep, or bending over (I'm almost 29 weeks) but I love it.
I love wearing things to show off my belly - it took so long for this belly to pop, as most people on here will remember me complaining about.
Even at 7 mts, I'm still not huge - but the best part is feeling the baby move. I love it. I've been home sick the past few days, and the baby has been keeping me company with its kicking, rolling, and hiccuping... I love it.
the weird thing is - even though its my 1st time, there is something very natural and familiar about it, as if my body knew wha to expect all thei time....
Now, my legs and butt and arms and face being bigger... not as fun!

What is funny is that like others said, its so gradual that its not at once this overwhelming weight or exhaustion...but its definitely weird!! I would fall asleep sometimes and almost forget i was pregnant...then i'd get up and be like "whoaaaa" because the weight of my belly felt enormous.
The biggest change for me was AFTER i had him. Going from huge and having awful heartburn, aching hips etc...to having nothing in there anymore...was very weird. I felt like my belly was jello...the nicest thing though was being able to breathe easy again and heartburn INSTANTLY stopped once he was here!

My belly has not been such a gradual increase--it grows in spurts in what seems like overnight. All of a sudden last week I woke up and my belly was bigger--everyone commented on the all of a sudden change. Now this week, I'm uncomfortable bending over to tie my shoes, my sciatica has kicked in overtime, the heartburn appeared out of no where, my legs start to bother me if I stand more than 10min and my heart is always racing. I've felt really uncomfortable this week and I'm only 27 weeks and things will only get worse. I have not really had any big complaints about my pregnancy up to this point.

ahhh lets see u have no more will power.... and u feel a sense of heaviness bc ur carrying all that extra weight...but all in all its amazing and too hard to explain

Well you may not experience that, but me and my friends who have had babies were talking about how weird your belly feels after a baby. It makes sense though, it gets stretched to basketball size or bigger and then the baby is delivered and it takes some time for it to feel normal. At 4 months postpartum, my belly feels so much better..very normal but I definitely have some extra "pooch" there that i have to lose!!

Its amazing and uncomfortable all at once. As you get bigger you get more uncomfy, I have anyway. I waddle, get kicked in the ribs, have severe back pain but at the same time I love feeling him move all around and seeing his kicks, punches and spins from outside of my belly.

i agree with all of the above, yes its great and all, but in the past 2 wks i've popped out insanely and feel like a lil barrel walking around, so def wasnt gradual for me, and i feel my belly all day long, cuz my baby tends to press on me all day, as if its trying to say look what i can do mommy, last night was a game of lets see how fast i can find mommys rib cage....
