Re: Stiching up the Cervix?

It WAS MENTIONED as a possibility to me...I didn't have it though.
I know 3 people that did..and not one said it hurt...and it did not hurt to remove either. Chat Icon

Re: Stiching up the Cervix?

a cerclage?

It doesnt hurt. They numb the area of the cervix which feels like a pinch.

Re: Stiching up the Cervix?

They thought I might have to do this, but my cervix turned out to be OK. I was speaking with my friend's wife, who had it done twice. She said the anticipation is by far worse than the procedure. She said the numbing felt less than if they were to draw blood.

Re: Stiching up the Cervix?

My mom was "stiched" for my yound sister. It does not really hurt from what she told me. But your cervix may not be as "elestic" on the delivery day.

Re: Stiching up the Cervix?

Thanks ladies!!

I'm not sure I'll be able to deliver- might need a C/S- depends on the heart shaped utuers, which is STILL unconfirmed!!! What's up w/that?

Glad to hear this doesn't hurt at least- Chat Icon
