Why are pregnancy tops ===
practically pornowear?? All my tops are crossover - and they PLUNGE to below my bra line. No matter where I shop that is all I can find - except for fugly huge t-shirt type stuff.
Is this because men make these clothes? Or because women who are small breasted want to show their new assets? Or what is it????

I cannot wear not one crossover top, its not possible with these mamas....which are NOT FUN to have....

DH is loving it tho...I am usually so much more discreet.

yes, i want to show off what my hormones gave me. i have one shirt that i worry i shouldn't wear to work for that very reason...but it beats how 6 years ago, all i could find was high neck t-shirts and sweaters. nothing totally cool unless you REALLY spent some $$$$ [which is usually reserved to the rich and famous].
my new problem is great fitting shirts with lots of give in my belly, but my elastic topped pants show underneath! I've decided that if anyone has a problem seeing my panels, they can look the other way. i can only see it in a mirror.

I was just complaining about being able to see the panels on my pants too. I'm in some maternity pants now for comfort, and I'm still wearing non-maternity tops, but most of them are too short to cover the panels. Very frustrating!!!!! But I agree, I'll wear them anyway, too bad if they show-- I could be showing them much worse

I have the porno problem, but for the opposite reason. I've gotten so friggin big that one boob inevitably starts hanging out and DH has to tell me to put my boob away. I'm not wearing those anymore.

I HATE how low the tops go! I bought one liz lange top from target and I wish I could return it now - it's insane!
I just buy stuff from the gap and old navy now - I found a lot of sweaters and shirts that are not plunging.

I feel the same way...I have to wear a tank top under everything....as if I don't already have enough to worry about, now I have the tank top too.
I worked with a girl who would wear these tops and let it all hang out....it was awful.

I was wondering the same thing...I'm big to begin with & there's no way I'm able to wear these tops.
DH said maybe when my belly catches up....
I guess its for the reasons the girls above state....

I was big enough before I got pg, but now forget it! I do have a solution though!! They mke double sided fashion tape that you can use to hold the shirts together. I am usually a medium, but I bought shirts in a large so there was a more room and material. I placed the shirt so it was not obscenely low cut and then put the tape in that spot. It works awesome!!!

where did you see this? I was actually looking for that!
They have it at Bed bath and Beyond, and also at a store called Great Shapes in Woodbury, Merrick and Roslyn. The tape is also great for sticking shirts to bra straps so they don't show!

Amen!!!!! I definately think that it is because for a lot of woman they enjoy showing off their new assets. For me it looks like I am having twins and carrying them in my chest area.

oh kara-totally having the same issue!! i use to love showing off my boobs, but now i feel trashy doing it! i just bought a tank to wear under some of them.
