Cord Blood Banking....
What are your thoughts on this? I have an option to do it through the military and I dont know much about it.... can someone fill me in on it?? and is it a good idea or a waste??

I would say definitely not a waste particularly if someone in your family has a certain medical condition that could be helped, ex. Parkinson's, stroke, etc. or if certain diseases run in your family.
The way we see it it's bascially an insurance policy. You never actually want to use your insurance (car, life, etc.) but imagine how life would be different if you needed it and it wasn't there.
We will be banking both twins chord blood because each individual can't use their own chord blood.
Just make sure you research the companies very closely. You want to make sure that the company you choose is very meticulous in collecting and storing methods adn that they have enough financial backing that they will around for decades to come, most likely that's when (and if) it will be needed.

We're doing it. My doctor said he would have done iit for each of his children if it had been around then.
