Thoughts on Hilites?
My hair is looking something fierce these days. I definitely need a hair cut- but I also desperately need hilites. Should I just wait? Or is it really bad to get them done now?

I am waiting for the 12 week mark...then RUNNING to the salon for high lights...my dr said it is ok after 12 weeks!!! Thank goodness!

Liz I waited til after the 1st trimester -- my OB told me to. God forbid anything happen -- and then, after 1st tri, I dyed it all back to my natural color so I won't have to bother with it. I figure better safe than sorry...

I got highlights done at 6 weeks and will have them touched up soon. My Dr. said it's perfectly fine.

I just had mine done recently..I was about 15/16wks.
It Safe esp since they dont touch the root.
