BRU registry ?
i registered about 2 weeks ago and every time i go on to change/ add something more and more items become "unavailable online". this is happening with everything from strollers and car seats to towels and wipes. do the items that become unavaible ever become avaible online again or do i have to keep updating the registry to what is currently available?
i did so much research and i really rather not change the items i selected but if they become unavaiable what do i do?
thanks!

Re: BRU registry ?
that happens when something becomes discontinued. Maybe it's just the pattern and you can choose the newer version?

Re: BRU registry ?
Many strollers and car seats are discontinued at the end of the "model year". I know, I laughed at that too Yes, similar to cars, they come out with a slightly different line. Bascially they mostly change the fabric, the size of the cupholder and it's a new model I didn't think I was buying a Toyota...lol.
The good news is, that most of last year's models, when discontinued, are steeply discounted. Last year, my BF found a very expensive stroller, can't remember the brand, for very cheap, NEW and in the box on e-bay. The stores can't sell the old models anymore so they sell the excess stock to on-line discount sites. Several of my BTDT mom friends have gotten new strollers that way.

Re: BRU registry ?
I have items on BBB that are under "check with store availabilty" then it's back to regular available for purchase. I guess it depends if they have stock or not or if it's discontinued.

Re: BRU registry ?
I've found that it changes- that sometimes, for whatever reason, things aren't available online one week, and the next week, that same item is available online.
I haven't been too worried- nothing I have on mine has been discontinued, thought the "not available online" thing comes up a lot. Besides, most of my friends and family will be more likely to buy from the store than from the site.

Re: BRU registry ?
Recheck everything you put on to make sure that the price ends with .99- like $19.99, and not .98 like 19.98... they say if it ends in .98, then it will be discontinued..

Re: BRU registry ?
The registry is linked to their warehouse. If something is temporarily out of stock (which happens alot this time of year) it will show that way, but as soon as they have it your registry will show it as available.
For things like the strollers carseats, etc, check to make sure that your pattern was not discontinued.

Actually, I've had things become "unavailable online" and then become available in the next couple of days or weeks. And you can get it in the store
